On science issues by reverting to the opposite conclusion, complete uncertainty. In both case the same untruths are supported through gray propaganda.

On the war issue: I challenged this wingnut on the issue of weapons of mass destruction. "There never were any weapons there when we went to war." He said "You can't possibly know that there weren't any there."
Ad Ignorantiam
He said "You can't possibly know that there weren't any there.
You can't prove a negative, so it's a specious argument. If the Iraqis had the WMD stockpiles the administration claimed they had, where did they go? It would have been impossible to destroy them or transport them elsewhere without being detected. Were they teleported to the moon or to the center of the earth?
