Death Threats
Kevin Sites got hate mail due to his filming of the Marine mercy shooting in Falujia. No doubt a postcard from Wingerville by someone outraged at the messiness of truth. Like with Abu Ghraib war supporters only want good news and the rest should be suppressed for the good of the group.

Mark, I've just found your blog, and I'm a little confused. Do you identify yourself as a conservative or liberal, or do you choose not to self-identify? I'm not sure what basis you have for terming the shooting in Fallujah a "mercy shooting"--is there information I've missed>
Eng Prof, I'm a liberal, but what that means is I draw from a larger pool of intellectual positions than a conservative does.
"Dedicated to bashing the myths perpetuated by the untrained conservative mind on environmental and other political issues facing the world at this critical juncture."
Mercy means the man wasn't dead or a threat at the time for the troops. They killed him in cold blood.
