Out Of It

This press blog by the Poynter Institute attracts the same sort of anti-press misinformation that is the central theme in blogaria: the press are ignorant biased hacks and now cheering for Kerry. Of course they support Kerry. But that is a personal choice unrelated to their jobs, and one could argue the same thing when the military generals make a political choice. Is anyone ever surprised that Tommy Franks is leaning toward Bush? Please. Or that Wesley Clark is a Kerry supporter. So what? That's America. There's a myth that the press isn't reporting the real truth and that somewhere out there their truth is being hidden by liberal journalists with an agenda. Hogwash.
