Condom Propaganda
60 Minutes reports. While abstinance is a worthy goal not everyone will make it if statistics are any testimony to reality. Yet religious groups continue to spread lies about condom failure. If these kids fail the test, doing so without the benefit of protection known to be 99 percent effective will be a rude awakening.

The abstinence only crowd are denying reality. Whatever the failure rate of a condom when properly used is, it is less than the failure rate of unprotected sex, which is 100%.
Abstinence is generally unattainable. Barring that, condom use is mandatory, but the zealous community is setting themselves up for failure. Tragically so in my view.
it was liberals that caused the massive problem with STDs and teen pregnancy that we have today. Before the sexual freedom movement, abstinence was the rule, and the incidence of STDs and pregnant teens was far less across the population.
it's neat how you shift the blame to the "zealous community", when the liberal community caused the problem. The "zealous community" has a much better track record. You should let them try it their way.

Really? Again, prove it. Where are your facts? Seems to me they did try it back in the 50's and 60' and it lead to a significant increase in dangerous backroom abortions... which lead to Roe V. Wade.

Fact is, the truth that people just don't seem to want to face is that sexuality is not a conservative or a liberal issue. It is not something that can be regulated by some bullshit holy morality and it is not something that can be prevented.
SEXUALITY IS HUMAN NATURE. It is at the very core of our existence. NOTHING will prevent people from having sex. Aids didn't. Herpes didn't. Syphillis has been around as long as the penis has been probing holes. Which is why people need get a grip and start teaching young people how to avoid contracting diseases. No one can stop sex. And, why should we? Study after study has shown it to be a healthy exercise and key to the success of a healthy relationship and, therefore, family. Again, the “zealous community” has gotten this wrong all along... Do we need to discuss sexual dysfunction and philandering in our pious society?
Case in point: The children who signed a vow not to have sex until they got married... anyone remember this religion-inspired youth program? If you have read the paper recently, you would know that instead of having intercourse these young paragons of morality simply resorted to oral and anal sex to get their rocks off... again, the "zealous" community failed because they don't understand they cannot control human nature.
John is fully indoctrinated. He simply doesn't acknowledge reality. That's a conservative central theme. They actually believe their own BS.
