The Media Has Failed in Covering the Climate Crisis

Cool It is the same collection of non sequiturs Lomborg has always used. He acknowledges the problem but dodges the solution and that is the price of carbon. It's the perfect way to do nothing, and assure disaster will smack us where we live. The problem with global warming is that everyone is implicated. There's the fear.

May I refer you to Power Line's Latest wherein the predicted lack of snow fall in England was upset by a massive amount of snow?

May I quote: "It's fun to ridicule the warmists because they are so often wrong, but their errors are in fact significant: a scientific theory that implies predictions that turn out to be wrong, is false. A principal feature of climate hysteria is its proponents' unwillingness to be judged by the standards that govern real science." from the same article captioned above

Well, see that's the problem Roper, only it's on your end. This is standard projection. The so-called warmists are correct. The world has warmed. It's caused by our emissions. The weather is extreme and wacky. Evidence, dude. Ya gots no evidence, only denial of such.

Predicting short term snowfall is called weather and as we know, weathermen/women are frequently wrong. Short term. Weather. Long term: climate. Get it? AGW predicts increased snowfall and rain. Check. We're having another 100-year rain here in LA now. Check.

ca. 2000 According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

Well, it is indeed rare and kids think it's exciting! Prediction confirmed.

And how about this quote from 2000 that Powerline left out?

Heavy snow will return occasionally, says Dr Viner, but when it does we will be unprepared. "We're really going to get caught out. Snow will probably cause chaos in 20 years time," he said.

The problem with conservatives is that they're scientifically illiterate. The only hypothesis they know is denial.
