Congratulations on your new job! It's better to make an honest living than to work for the government.
But, let me critique one of your articles. Irrigation is NOT responsible for rising ground water. Global warming is. Remember, global warming is to blame for everything, unless George Bush is to blame...and, he's to blame for global warming, too.

Thanks Woody. Irrigation is responsible for this rise in groundwater, but global warming is is for the floods, drought and fires. This is a fact. Stay tuned for more of this. Your layman's circular reasoning stems from a political fog also caused by AGW, in your case the fear of it being real, which it is.
There's no cure for ignorance. Remember, I'm paid to write and work for the government. You aren't.
