The Perils of Transcribing Lies

Journalists are doing the above at their own peril. This type of parallel relativism with the truth that drives the swiftnuts takes wings when repeated as a version of the truth that actually has legs based in fact. CJR has more. Even though the truth is out now, many don't believe it and in many ways the truth has taken a backseat and the lies have earned equal time. That's how urban legends and myths get passed off as the real thing. Journalists need to cut though the crap and expose it for the stinking pile it is.
